About 'a fly chick'
I was first introduced to the sport of Fly Fishing through my very keen father.
Although I have never really been interested in actually partaking, I have seen my father become more and more renowned in the field and decided, one year to just give it a go. With a mantra of "why the hell not" I have accompanied Dad to various locations around NSW and have had a fantastic trip to New Zealand in late 2009.
Up until going to NZ, I had never caught a fish and I'm a true beginner - so I know what women need to get started! With this in mind and a lack of resources just for women out there 'a fly chick' was born.
